What you own, what you licence, and what happens if we disappear.

The software. taleor is proprietary software, licensed to your organisation for the venues and players named in your agreement. Lite is licensed free of charge for up to five players in one venue, for as long as you use it. Pro is licensed per player per year. Enterprise is licensed per agreement, annually or in perpetuity.

Entitlements. From the first quarter of 2027, editions and player counts are enforced by an entitlement: a signed file that names your organisation, your venues, your player count and your term. On taleor.net it is applied for you. Until then, your agreement is the entitlement.

When a subscription lapses (planned). The console becomes read-only. Alerts still raise, broadcast still works, and the players keep playing their reels. Your building does not go dark because an invoice is late. This behaviour ships with entitlements in the first quarter of 2027.

If taleor disappears. Enterprise agreements include a source-escrow option: the source is held by an independent escrow agent and released to you if we cease to support the product.

Drivers. The driver kit is provided to certified partners and Enterprise customers under a separate agreement. Drivers are signed by taleor before they load.

Your content and data are yours. Analytics and the equipment register export as CSV today; media exports item by item. A full export of reels, schedules and the audit log is on the roadmap.
